Just Tell Me

CDC vouchers are government-funded household vouchers for spending at participating Singapore hawkers, heartland merchants and supermarkets during a specified validity period.

Also called: CDC vouchers, Community Development Council vouchers

Explain Like I’m Five

CDC vouchers give an eligible household a digital pool of vouchers for everyday purchases at approved merchants. Different portions may be assigned to participating heartland merchants and hawkers or to participating supermarkets.

How It Works

One household member claims the available voucher tranche through the official site using Singpass. The household receives a voucher link, selects an amount at a participating merchant and shows the generated QR code for the merchant to scan.

Where You’ll Run Into It

Participating shops, hawker stalls and supermarkets display CDC voucher decals. Community Clubs can assist residents who need help with claiming or using the vouchers.

Example

“This stall accepts the hawker-and-heartland CDC vouchers.”

The customer can use the relevant voucher portion there while it remains valid.

Watch Out

Voucher amounts, categories and expiry dates differ by tranche. Check the official CDC Vouchers site for the current scheme instead of relying on an older message.
